About us

Educational Research Centre (Centrum Badań Edukacyjnych)

Educational Research Centre was established in 2005 as a result of transformation of Educational Research and Development Centre. We directly subordinate to the Chancellor of the Academy of Humanities and Economics and are mainly in charge of efficient functioning of quality assurance system. Moreover, CBE also conducts researches in the field of higher education. Our main tasks are:

• providing various departments and management board with information concerning quality of education and quality assurance,
• coordination of internal quality assurance system,
• working out and implementing procedures in the area of quality assurance,
• supporting other units of the Academy of Humanities and Economics with all activities aiming to implement procedures in the field of quality assurance,
• conducting researches in the field of higher education in the world,
• marketing researches,
• implementing innovative methods of teaching (e.g. problem and project based learning),
• taking part in Bologna Process seminars.
